Malpractice - Jerry Kartzinel
By Heather Beattie
But after further studying, alas, he does both HBOT and Chelation therapy,
Then looking deeper into it, you see his connection with Jenny McCarthy (ARRRGGGHH). He co-wrote two of her books. This is the second one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040RMEI0 - No, I haven't had time to read it.
The biggest problem I have with both Kartzinel and McCarthy, is the huge anti-vaccination movement that has now been created. Vaccinations don't cause Autism; check this link: http://www.bancdmms.com/#!vaccines---necessary-or-dangerous-/c1481. Unfortunately, this paranoia has gone gone beyond parents avoiding getting their kids the MMR vaccination. Now TB, polio, even meningitis vaccinations are avoided. Hey, even some mad people refuse to get their pets vaccinated. http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/why-i-dont-vaccinate-my-dogs-at-all/ . Can we pin this all on Kartizel and McCarthy? OK maybe not, but they probably created this absurd paranoia.
Back to Kartizel's ethical position as evidenced by the quote at the top of this page. He is again, like so many, demonising Autism for his own book sales and income (sigh). Yes, this is as bad as Rivera saying Autism scares her.
I haven't managed to contact Kartinel to ask his views on CD/MMS. However, I did find this link: http://www.generationrescue.org/latest-news/chatautism-with-the-experts/chatautism-with-dr-jerry-kartzinel-live/ , where a parent admitted to him they were following the cd/mms protocol, and he didn't bat an eye, only answered their question. Responsible behaviour for an MD, hum.
"Autism, as I see it, steals the soul from a child; then, if allowed, relentlessly sucks life’s marrow out of the family members, one by one.."
And yes, he has a son, with Autism (sigh)
Jerry Kartzinels methods on first glance don't look too intrusive; GCFC diet, and various vitamin supplements. No horrendous enemas, or treatments that come with FDA warnings. If it helps, hell, no harm done. Recoveries seem to be based on improvements, rather than ATEC obsessions or 'cure' talk. Some would say many of these children would improve anyway, and he's taking a lot of money in, which perhaps wasn't needed, but hey.
